Adapting to Climate Change in Coastal Zone

  1. Field survey for checking the existing condition and beach data collection.
  2. Interview to check the perception of local people who live nearby coastal areas regarding to the climate change, coastal disasters and adaptations.
  3. Analyze the impact of sea level rise to coastal erosion in many future scenarios at the end of this century.
  4. Assess the beach tourism carrying capacity (TCC) in 4 target areas.
  5. Economics evaluation to analyze cost and benefit of adaptation approaches.
  6. Capacity building to build up the awareness of coastal communities about the impact of climate change to coastal zone.
